and Important notes..

1. We have absolutely NO interest in applications beyond LEGAL
edible or decorative plants and their cultivation under LEDs.
.
2. This website, its content, my opinions and
work here have absolutely NO connection to my employer. As most
of you know, I work for Philips LED Lighting as an Applications Engineer. It is important that you, as visitors
to this site, understand that I have no connection to Philips Horticulture Division, which is based in Eindhoven, and does
sell in the USA. That division makes high-quality LED-based lighting for commercial growers. If interested, I can direct you
to someone in that operation. It is also important to know this in my personal
"hobby" website and that Philips has no connection to its content. Any opinions expressed are mine as are any designs
I do not credit to others..
3. Not working in the field, but experimenting in it for several
years now, I hope to do some indoor gardening using some incredible recent discoveries in plant growth and nutritional manipulation
with carefully-selected LEDs- (papers in this website) and NO genetic modification. Will it work? Sure it will.
Is it cost effective? Well....Probably not on a small-scale, but that depends entirely on your perespective. I really
enjoy growing my own food, and winter interrupts that- well it USED TO!

laws for intellectual property. If you have questions about the use of any specific wavelength or process, please see the
